Training · Capability Transfer

Your team will be
first on scene.

Train them like it.

The people who will recognize a problem before we do are already on your payroll. Shadow builds protection capability inside your organization: onsite, in your buildings, around your actual exposure, taught by agents who ran Presidential details and still deploy.

We Are Not a School

Most executive protection training is a school. You send one person to a rural campus for three weeks and they come back with a certificate. We come to you, we build the curriculum after we have assessed your exposure, and we train the whole team that will actually be standing there. Start with an exposure assessment to find out what your team actually needs.

Two Different Models
The School
A certificate. For one person.
  • Your people travel to a fixed campus for two to three weeks.
  • A catalog course, taught the same way to every buyer.
  • Instructors who teach full time.
  • Heavy on kinetics: live fire, breaching, motorcade ambush.
  • The outcome is a credential for one individual.
  • The relationship ends at graduation.
Shadow
A capability. Across your team.
  • We deploy to your locations in two to five days, with minimal disruption.
  • Curriculum built after an assessment of your organization.
  • Instructors who were on a detail this month.
  • Heavy on prevention: behavior recognition, escalation, response.
  • The outcome is organizational capability across a whole team.
  • The same firm can deploy for you within hours.
Programs

Three starting points. All customized.

Every program below is a starting structure, not a fixed syllabus. Modules, duration, and scenarios are set against what the assessment finds in your organization.

Program 01

Protective Awareness for Corporate Teams

2–3 Days · 10–40 Participants

The foundation. Turns general staff into the earliest layer of your protective posture.

  • Pre-attack behavior and indicators
  • Surveillance recognition and reporting
  • Executive travel discipline and digital exposure
  • Suspicious mail, packages, and visitors
  • Emergency actions and evacuation discipline
  • Tabletop scenarios run in your own facility

For: Staff, reception, facilities, leadership

Program 02

Workplace Violence Prevention & Response

2 Days · 10–40 Participants

Built around threat behavior, not active-shooter theater. Maps to duty-of-care obligations.

  • Threat behavior and the pathway to violence
  • Escalation and de-escalation
  • Reporting structures that people actually use
  • Terminations and high-risk personnel events
  • Incident protocol and command roles
  • Documentation and duty-of-care posture

For: HR, legal, security, people managers

Program 03

Protective Operations for Security Staff

3–5 Days · 6–20 Participants

Secret Service advance methodology, transferred to the team you already employ.

  • Advance work: site surveys and route planning
  • Arrivals, departures, and formation fundamentals
  • Motorcade basics and vehicle procedure
  • Access control and screening
  • Emergency medical response
  • Working with contract protection details

For: In-house security teams and detail leads

How an Engagement Runs

The curriculum follows the assessment.

A course catalog is a guess about what your organization needs. We find out first, then we build.

Step 01

Scoping Call

Thirty minutes, confidential, no commitment. Who is exposed, what has already happened, and what is keeping you up.

Step 02

Exposure Assessment

We look at your people, facilities, travel patterns, and public footprint, and identify what training would actually change.

Step 03

Onsite Delivery

We come to you. Scenarios run in your lobby, your garage, your boardroom, where an incident would actually happen.

Step 04

Standing Capability

Written protocols your team keeps, an annual refresh, and a firm that can deploy within hours if it comes to that.

Why Shadow

What we can say that a school cannot.

We operate. We do not only teach.

Schools train full time, and their instructors' last real detail may be a decade old. Shadow has secured more than 500 events across four continents with a zero incident record. The people teaching your team are the people we deploy.

Our instructors were the detail

Former U.S. Secret Service Presidential Protective Division. Former USSS Protective Intelligence. Between them, our instructors have protected six U.S. Presidents. This is a roster, not a lineage.

We come to you

Your people do not disappear for three weeks. We train in your buildings, on your routes, against your real exposure, in two to five days.

Prevention, not theater

Your risk is rarely a motorcade ambush. It is a terminated employee in a lobby, a fixated individual at a shareholder meeting, an executive on a trip nobody advanced. We train for what will actually happen to you.

The relationship does not end at graduation

The doctrine we teach in your conference room is the doctrine we deploy in the field. If the situation exceeds what your team can hold, the same firm mobilizes within hours.

Final day · Monster Energy corporate security team

Monster Energy · 2026

The client did not need a syllabus. They needed their own people to see what their own security team was already seeing.

We built a three-day executive protection program specific to their leadership, their facilities, and their exposure profile, then delivered it at their locations rather than ours. Scenarios were run against their real environments. Protocols were written to their org chart, not a template.

Quoted after the scoping call

Because the curriculum is built from your assessment rather than a catalog, so is the price. Scope, duration, participant count, and number of sites all move it, and we would rather quote you accurately than post a number that means nothing until we have seen your exposure.

Multi-site and annual programs are quoted as an engagement rather than per head. Travel is billed separately. Existing Exposure Assessment and Fractional CSO clients start further along, because the assessment work is already done.

Frequently Asked

Before you call.

Do you certify our people?

We are not an accrediting body and we do not issue credentials that imply we are. Participants complete a documented program and your organization receives written protocols and a record of training, which is what matters for duty-of-care purposes. If individual licensure is your goal, a residential school is the right path and we will tell you so. Our courses are designed for professional development purposes only and are not intended to satisfy state regulatory requirements for initial private security registration or licensing.

Is there live fire?

Not by default. Most corporate programs are non-kinetic, because the risk your organization actually faces is behavioral. Where an in-house armed team requires range work, we scope it separately with an appropriate facility.

How much of our staff's time does this take?

Two to five consecutive days, delivered at your locations. Programs can be split across shifts or run in cohorts so operations continue.

Do we need an assessment first?

For the program to be worth what it costs, yes. The assessment is what separates a program built for you from a course you could have bought anywhere. For existing Exposure Assessment or Fractional CSO clients, the work is already done.

Can you train a team spread across multiple sites?

Yes. Multi-site and multi-country programs are quoted as a single engagement. Operations across four continents are routine for us.

What happens after the program?

Your team keeps written protocols. Most clients add an annual refresh, and many move to a Fractional CSO arrangement that includes quarterly training. If an incident develops, we can deploy within hours.

Please Note

Shadow training programs are designed for professional development purposes only. They are not intended to satisfy state regulatory requirements for initial private security registration or licensing. Where individual licensure or a state-mandated credential is required, participants must complete the program prescribed by the relevant state licensing authority.

Tell us who is exposed.

We will tell you what your team needs to know. Start with a confidential scoping call, or run an exposure assessment first if you are not yet sure what the gap is.
