Shadow operates across five operator tiers, from presidential protection veterans to entry-level event security professionals. Every tier is vetted. Every operator is cleared. The tier system ensures the right professional is matched to every mission.

Every operator in the Shadow network is classified into one of five tiers based on background, experience, and capability. Clients are matched to operators by tier. All tiers are vetted, background-checked, and held to Shadow standards before any deployment.
Reserved for operators with direct experience protecting heads of state, senior government officials, or A-list principals at the highest threat levels. This is the tip of the spear.
- U.S. Secret Service Presidential Protection Detail, or equivalent
- Special Operations Forces (Delta, SEAL Team 6, CAG, MARSOC)
- Federal agency protective detail (CIA, FBI HRT, DUSM)
- 10+ years verifiable protective operations
- TS/SCI clearance eligible
- Hostile environment & international deployment
Seasoned operators with federal law enforcement, military special operations, or extensive private sector executive protection experience. Detail leads and advance specialists.
- Federal law enforcement (FBI, DEA, ATF, DHS, USMS)
- Military SOF or senior NCO with EP experience
- 7+ years protective operations
- Detail lead and shift supervisor capable
- Advance work and site survey experience
- National and international travel available
Professional operators with law enforcement or military backgrounds, or equivalent private sector experience. The backbone of most Shadow deployments.

- Military service with relevant MOS / rate
- 3–7 years private sector protective operations
- Surveillance detection & counter-surveillance trained
- Detail team member, site security capable
- Regional and national travel available
Trained security professionals with documented field experience in access control, screening operations, and event security. Reliable team members with proven track records.

- 1–3 years verified security experience
